How to mount as loop an image of a VFAT made with dd?

Hello,

I made a disk image of a vfat fat16 using:
Code:

dd if=/dev/sda of=image_drive.img
I would like to mount it to /mnt/vfat using mount and loop. Is it possible to be mounted?

That's an image of a drive not a partition. Use losetup with an offset to skip the first cylinder then you may be able to mount it.
Search LQ for losetup and offset.

'mount -t vfat -o loop,offset=32256,ro image_drive.img /mnt/vfat'
assuming that the first cylinder contains 63 sectors of 512 bytes each.
