an u tell me from where i can get free dvd of centos or fedora
i take it you have not tried google
the very first hit for "centos" is there web site
also as stated above
you asked for help for a land line copper wire connection
then stated you are using a wireless phone as the connection .
two VERY VERY different things
now you state that it is an install using vmware on xp
also tell me whether my pc support 64 bit os or not ?my pc configuration is given below.
if you do not know then i think you need to do a bit of learning first. You seam a bit confused on some things ( that will improve in time )
installing and using a linux OS IS going to require A LOT of work on YOUR part - to learn a bunch of new things , AND UNLEARN some Microsoft things.
you might want to start by going to your local large book store . Talk to the people there and pick up a "basic" book on the subject
you can also start here
and do some reading here
as a VERY new person to linux i would NOT
- NOT- recommend installing CentOS or Fedora as your VERY first install
both are not designed with NEW users in mind .They can be a bit overwhelming , and difficult to install things on
Ubuntu or Mint are both very good choices for a new user
Red Hat ???
if you did not buy the license for it then i would NOT use it
red hat is NOT free
buying a license is REQUIRED
