Angry how to install SuSe linux on a Sata Hard Disk ?


i tried installing SuSe linux on my Sata hard disk . As soon as the hardware detection phase starts it generates the error ""No hardware detected "".Please tell how to cope with this problem?

What version of Suse are you using and do you have RAID (two disks combined as one disk) in the box?

I used the new released 10.0 and got the same problem. It cannot recognize the SATA disk. I only have one SATA (ST31600AS) disk.
