how to install packages kept at local directory

can you help me out?

i have 21 cds. i dont want to use them to install a package. rather i would like to install from "/home/debianlinux_cds"

i copied all the cds to this "/home/debianlinux_cds" location. i am not able to install them from "/home/debianlinux_cds" also i cant able to modify the sources.list file to say that my .deb's are "/home/debianlinux_cds"

i want to install selected packages from my harddrive "/home/debianlinux_cds"

how to do ?

i also want my other systems in the network to get installed through the packages kept in my parent (you can consider my parent as server system) system at "/home/debianlinux_cds" directory

any solutions....

if any solution... please describe step by step..

First hit from a search:

I'm assuming you are using Debian since you have debianlinux_cds as your directory you copied these packages from.
