Question How to install & run Java and Mysql on Mandrake 10.1.


1. I am a new user with Linux. I want to set up and run Java and Mysql on Mandrake 10.1, how should I do ? Please give me a detail and clear instruction.

YOu can download java from
http://java.sun.com

You will get Linux specific download which is of around 46 MB and Java Runtime environment around 15 MB.

I think, they have a help associated with installing.
Also, if u find that difficult, message here and I will tell u in detail
