from "man mplayer"
Code:
       -fstype <type1,type2,...> (X11 only)
Specify a priority list of fullscreen modes to be used. You
can negate the modes by prefixing them with ’-’. If you expe‐
rience problems like the fullscreen window being covered by
other windows try using a different order.
NOTE: See -fstype help for a full list of available modes.

              The available types are:

                 above
Use the _NETWM_STATE_ABOVE hint if available.
                 below
Use the _NETWM_STATE_BELOW hint if available.
                 fullscreen
Use the _NETWM_STATE_FULLSCREEN hint if available.
                 layer
Use the _WIN_LAYER hint with the default layer.
                 layer=<0...15>
Use the _WIN_LAYER hint with the given layer number.
                 netwm
                      Force NETWM style.
                 none
Do not set fullscreen window layer.
                 stays_on_top
                      Use _NETWM_STATE_STAYS_ON_TOP hint if available.

              EXAMPLE:
                 layer,stays_on_top,above,fullscreen
Default order, will be used as a fallback if incorrect
                      or unsupported modes are specified.
                 -fullscreen
Fixes fullscreen switching on OpenBox 1.x.
