how to find the telnet server IP address on a multihomed Linux..

I have IP aliased my Linux system. So, it can be reached using 10 different IP addresses. I want to know what IP address the telnet client has used to access my system. I can easily find that info for an SSH connection- SSH_CONNECTION env var has it. But this var is not set in case of telnet connection.

How about /var/log/messages or try last as I think it will tell you how you have logged on

I just forgot to mention that I need to do it programmatically.
Preferably in my PAM module. But if it's too complex, I need to do it in after successful authentication in a Program.
