How to find out what version of Kudzu???


Does anyone know how to find out the version of kudzu i am currently running under REDHAT 8? I have a problem with Hardware Browser.... When i try to open it ... it flashes real quick accross the screen and then dissappeares with out showing any information about the installed Hardware????

The last kudzu I saw didn't have a version-switch,
so the only chance I see atm is to run
Code:
rpm -q kudzu

U can use the " rpm -q " command at the shell prompt to query a package for its version number,

in your case type : rpm -q kudzu

It will return something like -- kudzu-0.99.69-1 at the next line

u can do the same for other packages also
