how to easily make a linux VPN Server ?


Is there a good howto for installing & making it work VPN ?

Is this a question? Are you asking for help? Perhaps you should read Eric Raymond's "How to ask good questions?" if you are looking for help, cause this thread or the content of this thread is of no help or use to us.

I installed openvpn: then nmap

Not shown: 1674 closed ports
PORT STATE SERVICE
111/tcp open rpcbind
139/tcp open netbios-ssn
445/tcp open microsoft-ds
773/tcp open submit
3052/tcp open PowerChute


Is the port 3052 the powerchute= vpn ?

Did you at least start openvpn after installing? Can you provide a little more info on the steps you followed? Any errors, etc?

From their docs, their server config looks to default to port 1194

I am sorry I am not programer, so linux is not to easy for me.
I spent more time on udevinfo stuffs to have my webcam working with the detection.

I will post you as you as I find more time for this howto.
Linux is not so easy for windows_users, but we do as much we can !
