how to Dynamic DNS and DHCP on CentOS 5


Hi,

I have DNS server + DHCP , how my dns servers gets update on both reverse / forward zones like windows DNS server while getting dhcp ip on client machine.

I am using DNS + DHCP on CentOS 5

Plenty of docs around, no need for us to reinvent the wheel. If you have specific problems, please ask specific questions.

Note that windows does this pretty oddly, it's generally the client that updates the dns server, not the dhcp server... does that make sense to you? A client automatically updates your central DNS? No thanks... standard ISDB DHCP / BIND solutions directly talk server to server, much nicer, but not necessarily "like windows" at the lower level.
