How to create a partition on a live box?

I have a fedora c4 box which i have a small / partition and swap.

Here is the fstab details

# This file is edited by fstab-sync - see 'man fstab-sync' for details
LABEL=/ / ext3 defaults 1 1
/dev/devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
/dev/shm /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
/dev/proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/sys /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
LABEL=SWAP-hda3 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hda1 /mnt/hda1 auto ro,user,umask=000,exec 0 0

/dev/hdc /media/cdrecorder auto pamconsole,exec,noauto,m anaged 0 0

I need to take some space from somewhere maybe a little from the swap partition and create a fat filesystem on it.
