There is a CD-Writing HOWTO at the Linux Documentation Project http://www.tldp.org

hey zlinux

i didn't say that i want to burn an iso image
i said i have my own copy on a cd and want to copy it

shall i make a normal copy for the cd or shall i copy it to my hard and make it .iso image and then burn to the balnk one

acid_kewpie 05-08-2002 09:52 AM

zlinuxz never said anything about iso's. just use your favourite bruner program and copy it, assuming your system is set up right. please don't take this the wrong way but that's a pretty lame question.

safrout 05-08-2002 09:59 AM

hey

i was asking that question
cos a friend told me before that i have copy the cd on my hard and change it to iso image and then burn it again on the balnk one

so i was asking here to be sure do i have to do?

and u r saying that i have to copy only

this will save a lot of work and time for me

acid_kewpie 05-08-2002 10:29 AM

well that all depends what software you are using and how your system is set up. you should be able to burn a copy on the fly easy.
