how to conver deb package to RPM ?

hi all ~
I have a deb package ,but in order to install it on CentOS, so I have convert it to RPM format .
have anybody knows how to conver deb package to RPM ?

You can't you must download the package (RPM) for your distro, (e.g Centos).
Directory locations / libraries etc are all different.
Unless its a custom package in which case you need the source and then try and re-create it on another distro.

Welcome to LQ.

Quite simple :
1) su
2) alien -r <package.deb>
.. will create <package.rpm>.
But non CentOS packages will not always work,
you may miss some dependencies, only found in
other debian packages.

The correct way is to find it with 'yum search'
or rebuild it to rpm from a src.rpm or other source.

No 'alien' ? Then http://packages.debian.org/lenny/alien
