How to contact a Linux administrator

I'm doing this project for my high school English class. Basically, you contact two professionals working in the field of your choice. However, I'm having trouble finding a Linux (or Unix) administrator to contact.

I know Google hires Unix admins, but the automated system won't get me anywhere. I'm pretty sure Cisco hires Unix/Linux admins, but the person says I have to have a name first.

So basically what I'm asking is, how would I go about finding a Linux/Unix admin for this project?

Thanks for you help!

You should be able to contact quite a few right here.

Most medium-large companies use Unix/Linux. If you've got a bank nearby, chances are VERY good they use it. Engineering firms, and programming firms/groups do as well.

Ask around a bit locally, and chances are you'll find it. Be cautious, though...alot of 'admins' aren't; they got the job because they were the user that could read the manual, and fell into the job. You can spot good admins, because they're bitter and cynical... ;)

Thanks guys.

I created a questionnaire with Google Docs.

If any Linux Admin would care to answer the questions (there are 8 primary questions), I would be greatly appreciative!!!

Thanks again.
