how to configure webcam in redhat linux 5


hi guys

i have a logitech webcam c200 . but i don't no how to use webcam in linux. plz help [/SIZE]me

most webcams just work now days
see if you have the program, cheese webcam booth installed
in/on ubuntu 910 and up it is in sound & video

try the cam in cheese first

the way ubuntu test a cam is in gstreamer-properties

open a terminal type, gstreamer-properties click enter
click video try v4l1 and v4l2
click the bottom test button for each 1

cheese has a nice help file look in the faq's
