how to ban certain file or folder names

im using samba to share linux files to windows clients.

I dont want users to be able to use certain names when they create/rename a file or a folder. This doesnt seem possible under samba, but is it under linux?

Has anyone found a way to implement a "ban list" for folder/file names under linux?

thanks in advance
