How to automatically see wondows c drive in redhat

Can anybody help,,

I've installed Redhat 8.0, but I would also like to access my windows c drive.

Now someone had shown me about a year ago, how, But I lost the instructions.

I know I have to create a /mnt/windows directory or is it a /dev/windows directory??

then I have to modify my /etc/fstab file and add something like

/dev/hda1 /mnt/windows vfat ??????????????????

any help would be appreciated..

thanks guys

Please try to search this forum for this one. It has been answered before many, many times.

Or use the man pages:

man mount

sgroy45, your attitude is not appreciated here. this question IS asked so so many times, and there is no point in people repeating themselves just because you can not be bothered to try a search first.

Hey, there's no offence intended.

He probably showed you something like:

mkdir /mnt/windows
mount -t vfat /dev/hda2 /mnt/windows

but if you don't learn it the hard way, you'll probably forget it again ....
