How to apply a vendor ID for USB device on fedora linux

Hi, All

I am new for Linux, my job is developing USB device on fedora Linux.
The USB device driver has been completed successfully.my question is:
how can I apply a new vendor Id (VID) for fedora kernel, so that my latest driver will be updated automatically when the Linux kernel was updated.

Thanks for your help
allen
