How to add new apps to Gnome main menu ? / VB6 code compilation to Linux .

Hi to all :-)

Can anybody tell me how to add new applications to the Gnome main menu ?
I am using Slackware 9.1 . I searched for a gnome application that do that job but i didnt find anything. Is there any text file that i had to edit to add new apps to the menu (like enlightment) or sth ?

Ohh.. and sth else. Is there any way to compile VB6 code to Linux binary ?
I am writting Visual Basic 6 code and i wander if there is an application to compile the VB6 code to Unix like OS's. (like realbasic that can compile for windows , mac classic and mac os x).

Thx a lot !

Don't think you can compile VB code on Linux.
Try translating it to C++ or C and use gcc to compile it.

Click the Gnome Menu, then Settings and in there you should have Menu Editor as an option

Enjoy

http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/debia...k/ch06_07.html

That's a step by step list of how to get to the editor with screenshots

The menu editor can also be in
Programs->Settings->Menu editor
