I have a dedicated RH 8.0 desktop AMD K2-450/256M.
It has been running linux full time since 99 it runs open office
and has all the gain/licq/amsn but I miss the quicktime offerings.
I also have a toshiba 2435 laptop that dual boots winXP and
SLackware 8.0. It replaced the Sony Viao FX250 that fried it's
motherboard. I have to have winXP to support the adobe
production bundle I use for video work. Photoshop/After Effect/
Premiere. If anyone knows any Open Source alternatives to
these products. I would love to know.

I currently run just Mandrake 9.1, but I am thinking of putting Windows back on, there's a couple of things that I can do better in Windows (such as gaming, CD burning, and file sharing (no decent p2p clients for linux, and I can't get kazaa lite working with wine))
I've got a dual boot setup with Win98SE and Mandrake 9.0, although I haven't booted back into Windows for about 2 months now.
I used Windows a few times to get the IPCop 1.2 updates list (neither it nor the other box mentioned below could grab it), but since v1.3 that appears to be fixed
I cheat a bit - separate Win98SE box for gaming. I frankly can't be arsed trying linux on it again - it uses Intel's 845 chipset, and there were/are issues with it (google for 845 and DMA). I've recently done a BIOS update on it as well.
Yeah well I still have a WindowsXP partition laying around here. I'm sending out resumes like crazy so its not very easy to write a nice cover letter and build myself up and then end it with:
I have enclosed my resume in an Open Office format.
In office Linux and win2k. At home I am i had Redhat and 98 but when i installed XP i lost my linux. I reinstalled my Linux and this resulted in the loss of XP.. still playing with my system lets see where it ends
I have 2 machines. 1. Im dual booting Red Hat 9 and Win XP, my brother uses windows, and i sometimes boot to windows when i'm playing games.... 2. I'm running Mandrake 9.1 on the other machine...
most of the time i boot to linux though.... since i use red hat more than mandrake.....
