How do I type 0 with a slash thru it?

I am trying to type a Zero with a slash thru it. In windoze you use Alt + 0216 how would I duplicate this in linux.

I am new to linux and just learning so sorry if this is an obvious question.

Unicode Character Map?

Yah, I'm used to the quick Windows-key + R -> charmap thing myself. Since I didn't know the answer to your question, I checked to see if there's something similar and, at least on Fedora, there's the Unicode Character Map under Accessories. From there I found:

Ø

U+00D8 - though I'm not sure how you'd type that in

Cool thanks I didnt even see that earlier and I was searching all over.

That will get me started for now. But if there is a fast way to type that in that would be great as I use that quite often for my call sign.

Thanks Again!
