how do I set the refresh rate settings?

i've been looking all over and can't find controls to adjust my display refresh rate. Does this exist in the software? I run redhat 7.2 with KDE. The picture is acceptable but appears to be refreshing too slowly.

Please help.

thank you.

another techical question:
I have 3 hard drives, 2 of which are hardware configured as a RAID 0 with win98 and the 3rd is EIDE#2 master with redhat. I have to go into bios to disable ide channel 2 in order to boot win98 and go back to bios and enable ide channel 2 to boot redhat.

Is there a way to select at a prompt the OS to load instead of going into bios without altering my hardrive config?
and
Is it possible to view the other OS's file directory from the other OS. ex: in linux be able to view windows files on the RAID drives or vice versa?

my equip: soyo dragon mb, 2 60-gig wd hdd, 1 maxtor 80gig hdd, amdxp1900, 512ram

thanks again,
CK
