how do i schedule events to run daily.
 
Hi,

I'm just wondering how do i set a function to update each day, or run at a scheduled time?

I want it to run some kind of script top update my DYNDNS address.

any ideas?

how about cron

Write your script and make it executable (chmod 755 <scriptname>)
Next, add it to /etc/cron.daily (cd /etc/cron.daily then ln -s /path/to/script/<scriptname> )

Or you can use Webmin's cron manager to schedule it.
