how do I open a nautilus window when I'm in a terminal

Hi All,

I've found Linux to have a better everything command line than Windows except one thing. I've been a little spoiled by doing things on a command line then typing

start .

to open a window that allows me to do quick manipulation of many files (copying, moving, etc.) I find myself still wanting to do that on Linux. I'm sure there's a way, but I'm not sure how to do it. I've tried even writing a small shell script (with what limited skill I have in shell scripting), but haven't been successful. Can anyone help me here?

By the way...

Sorry to have hit the submit button too quicly. I'm running GNOME on Fedora Core 1. I'm sure that's extremely relevant here!

Thanks,
