How do I change my default font...?

I am not running X and just using console login. I would like the font to be smaller so more text can be on the screen. How would I do this?

Thanks!

One way would be to change your graphics mode in your lilo.conf file. I have mine as vga=791 for the Linux entry. (I think that setting is 1280x1024... or something like that).

Can you pass a 'vga=xxx' kernel option? I don't use Grub, so I'm affraid this is as good as I can do. I'm sure there's some docs on the subject, google/linux comes up with loads with the search criteria of 'grub documentation'

Thanks...I asked here because I came up bust. I used to use Lilo...I may just go back to it.

Thanks for your replies.
