How could I do the fsck?

We just had a power interruption and when I restarted my RedHat Linux (7.2). It says:

UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY;
Run fsck Manually.
Give the root password for maintenance (or type Control-D for normal Startup:

I tried typing Control-D but it ask about maintenance using fsck.

Could you please help me out with this because I cant load my Linux.

enter the root pass and do "fsck /dev/<partitionname>" for each partition you encounter errors on. pressing CTRL+D won't make those errors go away :-]
