How can i run AT commands in linux ?


How can i run AT commands in linux ?

We can run AT commands in windows hyper Terminal Like wise where can i run in LINUX os?

Hi,

You can use minicom to communicate with a modem and run AT commands

I cant run AT commands

while i am trying to run minicom i got this error

[root@jayaraj ~]# minicom -o console
minicom: WARNING: configuration file not found, using defaults
Device /dev/modem access failed: No such file or directory.


Please help me...

Make sure that /dev/modem points to the actual serial port, where your modem is connected.
Code:
ls -l /dev/modem
Use minicom configuration menu (Ctrl-A O) to setup serial port and communication parameters correctly.

As root run 'minicom -s' to configure minicom.
