how can i play mp3's in suse


how can i play mp3's in suse using xmms player
can anyone provide codes for xmms?

As SUSE doesnt support MP3 out of the box, you'll have to install some codecs. The same for divx/xvid/dvds.

I use http://packman.links2linux.org/ as it provides all the needed RPMs.

libraries/libmpeg3 will give you support for MP3 in XMMS and the other audio players like Amarok!
