How can I extract the audio from a flash movie?

There are lots of great flash documentaries on the web. I want to download the audio and listen to them on my mp3 player. How can I do this with linux (Ubuntu Gutsy)?

I *think* I can download the .swf file from any web page with embedded flash but after that, nothing seems to work. I tried the VLC media player which seemed to offer this functionality, but it didn't work.

I guess you can do that on VLC
