How can I create custom keyboard shortcuts in Gnome? (not the ones they have set!)

Good evening/morning, I'm curious as to how I can map my own custom keyboard shortcuts;

ie: ctrl+m = mplayer

Any ideas? Thanks ahead!

Cheers,
Galen

looks like the esiest way is to just edit metacity's keybindings_commands section via gconf-editor.

btw, i just found this thread through google as i wanted to do this myself, and found the answer 3 googel results later... would've saved you a lot of time to have done that yourself.
