How can I change my display position?
 

My display seems to be rotated about 5 degrees anti-clockwise, because of this, I can't read the first few characters of text at the top of the screen. (In X this isn't much of a problem because I can just move the windows, but in command line, it's very annoying.)

Kinda like this (please excuse the ascii drawing):

I want to know if there's any way to adjust the display settings.

Most monitors have adjustments, including rotation. Check your owner's manual, or search Google with the manufacturer and model of your monitor (should be written on the unit).

If your monitor has no user accessible controls, then the display can still be rotated, but because this requires opening the unit (exposing lethal voltages), I suggest you leave it to a qualified individual.
