How add a loopback DVD iso image to fstab??


i've tried various combinations and i can't pull it off

/mandrakedvd.iso /mnt/mandrake -t iso9660 -o loop ,ro,auto 0 0

whats wrong with this picture please

You may add the mount command to some startup script if fstab string doesn't work.

> /mandrakedvd.iso /mnt/mandrake -t iso9660 -o loop ,ro,auto 0 0

Get rid of the -t, the -o and the space after loop: -t and -o are used when using mount from the command line.

ie add this line to your fstab file:

/mandrakedvd.iso /mnt/mandrake iso9660 loop,ro,auto 0 0

Still works, copy/paste and edit the paths, for me for a 2010.2 Mandriva x86_64 PowerPack iso. Thanks!
