Hot to turn the screen saver off in RedHat 7.3?
 
Hi all,

I am having a 24/7 application that running in RedHat 7.3 as background mode. However, I don't know how to turn the screen saver off. Does anyone know how to do that? Please give me some advice.

what window manager or desktop are you using?

if it's kde try kcontrol

Thanks for help, I am using KDE and I turned the screen saver and the energy saving off already, but it still showing blank screen.......... any idea?

Try:
xset b off

It might work. And if you got an energy star monitor, the support for it might be enabled. To disable it:
xset -dpms

To list all the settings, type:
xset q
