high performance cluster client

I am looking for an hpc cluster client that works like folding at home so I can get friends and neighbors to help on the project.

I've never used or heard of folding@home until now, but maybe Beowulf might do something for you: http://www.beowulf.org/overview/faq.html

The GFS is also something I've been wanting to try out: http://www.redhat.com/gfs/

I am new at this, but I have an hpc server already set up and for now the file system is irrelevant. What I need is a piece of software that can sit on another machine whether it be linux, microsoft, apple, or whatever to give up unused cpu cycles to the host hpc as sort of a part time client like Seti. I must have put the post on the wrong section. I looked a several possible choices, but being a newb at this I am not sure which way to go.
