help!!! xmms-kde please!!!
i just installed xmms-kde, which is an applet for kde's panel that allows you to play music from the panel. i spent so much time getting it installed that i really want it to work correctly as a matter of pride. the problem is when i go to Preferences -> Player it doesn't let me select the button next the other players (xmms, smpeg), it always stays on noatun. since i can't figure out how to get noatun to play mp3s (you could help me there too) i would really like to be able to select either of the other players. i know i definately have xmms installed with all packages and i use it all the time. any ideas, please! FC2, KDE 3.2.2-14.FC2 Red Hat thanks!!!!

If you haven't done so already, check your audio File Associations In Control Center-->KDE Components-->File Associations-->audio-->x-mp3 and make sure xmms is at the top of Application Preference Order.
I'm using KDE3.4.0, but IIRC 3.2.2 is similar. Hope that helps. Netcrawl |
