Help with themes & Gnome
 

I know this thread has come up a thousand times but I have gone through many search results and still cant figure this out. I have downloaded some themes and I know how to get to the theme manager in Gnome but when I click "install new theme" and then point to the file that I downloaded nothing happens. It doesnt show up in the list of themes or preview. Is there something Im missing, or can I only use certain themes or what. I am running RedHat 7.3 with Gnome only.

what themes did u download? any error messages or simply nothin?

if u didn't point to the .tar.gz file u downloaded, try point to it(don't unzip).
