help with installing kubuntu

ok i downloaded the iso file and burned it on a cd, i cant get it to install wht can i do to start gettinthis installed

You have to burn it as an image file. I would imagine your burning software has this capability.

i burned it to that as iso image , cause if you go into cdrom and look at it it says

its in /mnt/cdrom
kubuntu-6.06-desktop-i386.iso

Is your bios setup to boot fromm cdrom drive?
And what happens when you do try to start the install?

Put the cd into the cdrom drive -> reboot the computer -> and you will see the option to install.
