help in stty


dears,

when i write the stty command i get this output
i want ti change numbers of rows and the numbers of columns



speed 38400 baud; -parity
rows = 46; columns = 142; ypixels = 0; xpixels = 0;
erase = ^h; swtch = <undef>;
brkint -inpck -istrip icrnl -ixany imaxbel onlcr tab3
echo echoe echok echoctl echoke iexten

The rows and columns are reporting on the size of your existing window.

You can "change" them by contracting or expanding (assuming you have viewable room) the window.

After you change the size of a window (usually by selecting one of its borders and dragging in or out) you can run the "resize" command to insure the change is recognized.

I suspect what you really mean is you want to change how much fits within the full size of the screen. For that you want to look at fonts rather than sizes.
