I somehow corrupted my file. The system started refusing 'sudo' command.

ysingh, it's considered poor etiquette to co-opt someone's thread with a new question. If you have a new question, you need to open a new post. Plus the post you just made will not show up in the "Zero Reply Threads" queue, so it will not get very much visibility.

'ysingh ALL=(ALL)ALL' is an entry that you might want to add to sudoers, not a command that you want to enter on the command line. And it is missing a space; it should be 'ysingh ALL=(ALL) ALL'.

To edit the sudoers file use the command 'visudo'. You'll need to be root to do that.
