Help - deleted partition: GRUB loading stage l.5, Grub loading, please wait Error 17
 

I deleted the Linux partition from within windows XP on a dual boot machine. I wanted to remove Linux which is not being used on that particular machine. HD low on space. Now getting following error: GRUB loading stage l.5, Grub loading, please wait Error 17

If only choice is to reinstall Linux I will do.
Would like to get machine to boot and back to working state. Once this is working, will likely remove Linux from that machine to get space. Have Linux elsewhere.
Help please.

If you've got the XP install CD, boot up from it, choose R when it gets to that stage, and type fixmbr in the Recovery Console prompt.
