hello and a question

i have a plan to convert the my handmade progam on Windows
to the Linux program.
the program is made with wxWidget.

so
please tell me what i need to do before installing wxX11
by the ./configure cmd.

according to the install-x11.txt document
" It is recommended that you install bison and flex; using yacc
and lex may require tweaking of the makefiles. You also need
libXpm if you want to have XPM support in wxWidgets (recommended)."

but I don't know how to do for those recommendation.

What distro are you using?
Most time you can have the distro's package manager install wxWidget for you.
