I am a little stressed right now so bear with me.

This evening I was doing a lot of things with my linux server, a lot I do not know exactly what I did to cause this.

I can access the box via ssh, but I can not see anything there, I dont even see directory structures, yet I can cd through them, I tried to go into directories that did not exist and it gave me an error so I know the stuff is there. When I try to login as root I get an error, I am also unable to write to the hard drive in any way shape or form.

All the services running on the box are still running, I can even access web pages that are hosted on the server.

Any thoughts or comments would be amazing.

Bumping my own question, is there a way I can use the cat command to direcly write to a file on a remote computer? I know my files and folders are there, I just cant access them or see them.
