Have I asked a question that has no answer?

I seem to have asked a question to which there is no answer. Viewable here-->http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=162246
I have this same question on no less than 5 different forums, with a combined viewing of over 700, but not one answer.
While I realise that this is just to difficult for me at the moment. I find it hard to believe that I have beaten every linux expert who looks on these forums. Can anyone help me out here.

ummm, maybe thats because not everyone has a cd-burner or uses k3b (or whatever it was?)

so why don't you just try to copy again?,,, surly the cd-burner cant fry a disk in another dive?

Please do not start a thread just to highlight that another thread has not been answered. The correct way to bring your post to the top of the forums is to reply to your own thread with details of other things you have tried.
