I tested REAR a few months back. Liked the concept, but the implementation and doco is lacking.
I was never able to get a valid restore on the CentOS test system, so I abandoned the project. Another poster here on LQ had also mentioned difficulty with the restore after I suggested REAR as an option - hence I decided to test it myself.
As mentioned by TBone, describe what issues you are having.
@TB0ne..Apologize for the vagueness of the question, I 've didn't know where to start.
I am working on OVM hypervisor running I636 arch OVM server 2.2.2. On top of that i had installed OEL 5.5 X_86 OS. The backup solution is EMC networker, I have input appropriate "nsr" agent in rear config. i am able to run and generate rear recovery iso file. However when i try to upload the iso file onto Oracle VM manager 2.2.0, I realize that the guest is paravirtualized. By the below o/p i understand its paravirtulized.
When i select paravirtulized option, its asking me for an NFS path from where it would load the ISO, I did that and isin't working. I was told that the ISO file has to be unpacked, did that too and still no use. I am sure i am going wrong somewhere.
REAR works well on standalone physical machines, but this is an OVM not sure if REAR is built for a bare-metal-restore for Oracle VM.

No worries...but since you've got vm servers, back one up, and spin up a new vm to see what happens.
