HAl will automount cd's but not DVD's


So i have went over backwards and forwards the Hal wiki http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HAL with no luck what so ever. I am brand new to arch linux but a long itme ouser of ubuntu. AS i said in the topic cd will mount but dvd does not mount. can't figure out why?
Here is my entry for DVD in FSTAB

/dev/dvd /media/dvd auto,iso9660 ro,user,noauto,unhide 0 0
I am a member of hte hal group

When you open up K3b and check for the DVD drivers, are they installed (dunno how else to check, since I don't have their names)?
