GUI questions

How do you customize the GUI so you can use your own color scheme etc. And then save that GUI so you can send it to friends?

The more customization the better off it would be.

If anyone has any links advice etc please post here.

What GUI are you using? GNOME, KDE, some other window manager?

well, the reason I asked the question, is because I thought it would be fun to build my own GUI's but I am not sure where to start.

Where to start depends upon which window manager or desktop environment you are using. IIRC, Red Hat's default is KDE, so try the KDE documentation.
