Post GUI Loding issue

Hi,

I am having issue with my system in booting. I am using the Ubuntu 8.04,
i believe the issue is with detecting of the Serial port, if i boot connecting with my serial port i am not able to boot the system, else it works, but i need the extra serial cards. this worked fine with ubnutu 7.04. Can any one help me in resolving the issue. Here arethe logs of my pc. i booted in failsafe mode from BIOS to get the logs.Thanks in advance.4.0Logs.txt
