gtkpod freezes when trying to read itunesdb

Hi all.

Has anyone seen gtkpod lock up when the 'Read' button is pressed? I get it every single time I press it, making my ipod unusable with linux. I'm using Ubuntu, but it does the same on gentoo and fedora.

I have opened it up with gdb and it seems to lock up trying to read the iTunes DB, has anyone else seen this? It's annoying because I have to have Windows installed purely to manage the ipod when I haven't had it installed for nearly 2 years.

If anyone knows of anything like this please let me know Or I spose if anyone knows any to rebuild the iTunes DB or anything I dunno.

Thanks

I get the same problem. gtkpod tells me that it cannot find .../iTunes/itunesDB somehow.

The iTunes directory cannot be seen if I open the iPod with a file manager.
