GTK bookmarks

You know when you run GTK+ applications like Evolution, Gvim, Gedit, and you select File----> Open, you will get a pop up window to select file. In GTK+ programming term, people say it FileSelection dialog. There are New Folder, Delete File, Rename File, Cancel, OK buttons. You can browse the folders to choose file. Anyone know how to add bookmark button?

so we can push the bookmark button then access the place that visited by us very often. It is annoying everytime we run GTK+ applications then we open files, we dropped in current directory or home directory, then we have to browse to place that visited very often by us.

Or is this crazy idea? Or I have to become GTK+ developer to implement my idea?

Thanx guyz!!!!

This idea has been added to the latest versions of KDE/Gnome, but they are either in beta version at the moment, or just got released. Give it a few weeks, and hopefully the upgraded distributions will include the upgraded desktops. I agree, that's annoying. :)
