GRUB question

Sorry for the newbie question, but every time I update the kernel on RH8, GRUB puts a new boot option for that kernel version.

Question is... How do I get rid of the old one?

You edit your grub.conf file. You can find it in one of two places: /etc or /boot. On my Red Hat 8 system, the file in /etc is just a link to the file in /boot.

Just open it up, and remove the appropriate records, and that's it. I'd keep a backup just in case... until you verify everything is happy.
